Yet that is exactly what happened during a recent podcast conversation that has gone viral across Black social media.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNo one watched \u2018Living Single\u2019 and said they were attractive,\u201d one of the men said. Another tried to soften the statement, saying they weren\u2019t calling the cast ugly. The women simply weren\u2019t \u201cGirlfriends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Excuse us?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The segment \u2013 if you can even really call it that \u2013 started loud and wrong as a debate about studs, lesbians and tomboys. The group went back and forth about the terms, what each group supposedly wore and how people identified them. <a href=\"https:\/\/madamenoire.com\/tag\/queen-latifah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Queen Latifah<\/strong> <\/a>eventually came up, first as Cleo in \u201cSet It Off\u201d and later as Khadijah James on \u201cLiving Single.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Somehow, the conversation turned into rating the attractiveness of the women on the beloved 1990s sitcom.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RELATED CONTENT: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/madamenoire.com\/1678396\/black-women-sisterhood-lesbian-op-ed\/\">Why Can\u2019t Black Women Just Love Their Girlfriends Without Being Called Lesbians?
