The judge overseeing Fat Joe\u2019s case is calling out the defense team\u2019s attorney for their lack of professionalism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/a\/tracewilliamcowen\/fat-joe-defamation-lawsuit-opposing-lawyer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> by Complex, Fat Joe\u2019s defamation case against for hype man Terrance Dixon, and named attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopwired.com\/2879185\/lawyer-suing-fat-joe-indicted-for-mowing-down-66-year-old-process-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tyrone Blackburn<\/a> in the same lawsuit filed in 2025. Fat Joe, real name Joe Cartagena, stated that Dixon attempted to extort him and put out unproven claims about the veteran rapper.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last week, Blackburn requested that Magistrate Judge Jennifer E. Willis extend his deadline for refilling a motion to withdraw and Dixon\u2019s legal representation in the matter.
